The Panasonic Scholarship Program was established in 1998 in commemoration of the company’s 80th anniversary as a way for the company to express its appreciation to society.

Its aim is to provides cholarship opportunities to privately financed students from Asian countries who wish to pursue a master’s course in Japan, to offer financial assistance to foster highly educated experts who can contribute to the development of their countries in the 21st century, and to promote mutual friendship between their home countries and Japan.
Eligibility

* Applicants must be citizens of Malaysia.
* 25 years old and below.
* Applicants must obtain at least CGPA 3.0 and above.
* Applicants must major in any one of the SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY disciplines. Note: This excludes medical science, pharmacology and dentistry.
* Applicants must have completed 16 years of school education or have been accepted as eligible for enrollment at the targeted graduate schools. However, applicants must have completed their bachelor degrees no more than 4 years prior to the date of their arrival inJapan.
* Applicants must be enrolled as research students at universities in Japan from April in the first year and must also be able to take master’s courses by April of following year at the latest.
* Applicants must be medically fit and must be strongly motivated to study in Japan.
* Applicants must obtain a certain level for Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).

To be eligible for the Intel Penang Design Center Scholarship, an applicant must:

* Be a Malaysian citizen
* Be a full-time student in a local university studying in the fields of Electrical and Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering
* Not hold any other scholarship from other companies, organizations, or Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA)**
* Have one or more of the following:
o SPM with A1 for mathematics and all science subjects
o STPM with grade A for a minimum of three subjects
o Matriculation with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above
o For university undergraduates, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required

**Note: Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional Malaysia (PTPTN) loan holders are allowed to apply.

Scholarship Package
Each scholarship package includes:

* Tuition
o RM10,000 per year for undergraduate students

o RM13,000 per year for postgraduate students

Study Level
How To Apply Each year, scholarship applications are accepted between July 1 and August 31. Bumiputeras are encouraged to apply. If you are interested in applying:

* Access and complete the Scholarship Application form.
* Email your completed application form and a copy of your resume to Intel Scholarship (grp_Intel_Scholarship@intel.com, with subject: Malaysia Scholarship Application).

Deadline Between July 1 and August 31.

Applications are now open to Malaysians for scholarship awards offered by the following educational institutions.

ELIGIBILITY

* be Malaysian citizens of not more than 25 years of age as at 1st January 2010.
* have excelled in extra-curricular activities & active in sports.
* not be bonded to or in receipt of any financial aid or awards from other educational institutions or organizations.
* for Foundation / Diploma courses, applicants must possess reasonably good results in the SPM / UEC or equivalent.
* for the Higher and Advanced Diploma / Degree courses, applicants must possess reasonably good results in the STPM / A-Level / UEC or equivalent.

1. SYARAT-SYARAT PERMOHONAN
Permohonan adalah terbuka kepada Warganegara Malaysia dan Bukan Warganegara Malaysia yang berkelayakan seperti berikut:

* Lulusan Diploma dari IPTA / Politeknik / IPTS;
* Lulusan STP / HSC / STPM Tahun 2008 atau sebelumnya;
* Lulusan Matrikulasi Tahun 2008 atau sebelumnya;
* Sijil Politeknik (Kejuruteraan); dan
* Kelayakan lain yang diiktiraf setaraf dengannya oleh Kerajaan Malaysia dan diluluskan oleh Senat (IB, AUSMAT, A Level dan lain-lain), dan
* Memenuhi Syarat Am dan Syarat Khas program pengajian.

2. CARA PERMOHONAN

i. Permohonan kemasukan ke Universiti Sains Malaysia bagi Program Pengajian Lepasan Diploma/Setaraf Sidang Akademik 2010/2011 adalah melalui Aplikasi Dalam Talian (Online Application) sahaja.
ii. Pemohon boleh mengemukakan permohonan mulai 04 Januari 2010, jam 5.00 petang.
iii. Pemohon boleh melayari laman web http://www.usm.my untuk mendapatkan maklumat mengenai program pengajian yang ditawarkan, Syarat Am dan Keperluan Khas program pengajian di USM dan seterusnya membuat permohonan.
iv.

Pemohon perlu mendaftar untuk LOGIN dengan menggunakan Nombor Mykad dan mengisi maklumat lain seperti yang diperlukan. Nombor Rujukan untuk mengakses Borang Permohonan akan dipaparkan di skrin komputer anda.
v.

Borang Permohonan boleh dicapai selepas proses (iv) di atas selesai dengan menggunakan Nombor Rujukan yang dibekalkan.
vi. Untuk memastikan permohonan anda diproses, sila klik pada SETUJU di bahagian enam (6) – PENGESAHAN. Permohonan hanya akan diterima oleh sistem apabila klik pada SETUJU. Sistem akan mengesahkan status penerimaan permohonan anda.
vii. Borang permohonan yang telah lengkap diisi perlu diCETAK dan diHANTAR bersama :

a. Salinan My Kad / Kad Pengenalan

b. Salinan Sijil Akademik [SPM, STPM / Sijil Matrikulasi / Diploma (sila sertakan transkrip yang lengkap) /IB /A Level / AUSMAT / SAM]

c. Salinan Ko-Kurikulum

viii. Calon mesti menghantar Borang Permohonan yang lengkap mengikut jumlah program pengajian yang dipohon.
ix.

Permohonan dianggap TIDAK LENGKAP dan TIDAK AKAN DIPROSES sekiranya USM tidak mendapat Borang Permohonan dan maklumat lain yang diperlukan.

Calon-calon lepasan STPM tahun 2009 yang berkelayakan adalah dipelawa memohon secara terus dalam talian (online application) untuk mengikuti program pengajian di peringkat Ijazah Sarjana Muda (Ijazah Pertama Penuh Masa) di Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM Apex) bagi Sidang Akademik 2010/2011.

USM Apex menawarkan sebanyak 65 program pengajian di peringkat Ijazah Sarjana Muda. Calon-calon yang memohon kemasukan ke USM adalah diwajibkan untuk mendaftar dan menduduki Malaysian University Selection Yearly Inventory (MunsyI) yang akan diadakan di pusat-pusat ujian terpilih di seluruh Malaysia seperti yang terdapat di dalam sistem permohonan (pohon@usm).

Calon-calon lepasan STPM boleh mengemukakan permohonan dengan mendaftar terlebih dahulu (secara percuma) untuk mendapatkan Nombor Rujukan dan seterusnya LOGIN untuk mengemukakan permohonan secara online melalui pohon@usm. [DAFTAR SEKARANG] Calon-calon wajib menyimpan Nombor Rujukan masing-masing untuk rujukan. Calon-calon adalah dinasihatkan untuk mencetak Nombor Rujukan dan borang permohonan untuk simpanan. Permohonan dan pendaftaran untuk Nombor Rujukan adalah secara percuma. Calon-calon boleh memilih sekurang-kurangnya dua [2] program pengajian dan maksima sehingga lapan [8] program pengajian.

Bagi program pengajian pendidikan di USM, calon-calon masih perlu memohon melalui Bahagian Pengurusan Kemasukan Pelajar (BPKP), Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi dengan melayari laman web http://www.mohe.gov.my.

Mulai Sesi Julai 2010 Politeknik hanya menawarkan Program Diploma Lulusan SPM, Program Diploma Lulusan Sijil Politeknik KPT dan Program Diploma Lanjutan Lulusan Diploma Politeknik KPT sahaja.

National Astronaut Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Al-Masrie, in collaboration with the Allianze College of Medical Science (ACMS) has launched scholarship for eligible students
to pursue diploma courses in medicine at their college. The scholarship is only made available to 200 students with outstanding result and the scholars will be receiving RM2000 early next year when they start their semester in the Allianze College of Medical Science.

The scholarship you get should be able to cover all the expenses for the first three months such as air tickets and text books before getting your PTPTN.
